E Go Better

Na so dem talk but which day
dis jungle go mature and pawpaw go ripe again.

I wan waka for dis country, but dis big
hole wey dey for road dey drag my leg; I no fit move.

Today my throat just dry, but tap no work,
wetin work for this land sef?

The sufferhead wey dey here no be small
even my father get im own share since e small.

Dem say body no be firewood,
but everybody dey hold him head to survive this land.

For dis land ehn, no be lie
na monkey dey work baboon dey chop.

If I open book for you, you sef go see
say no be today shit don dey smell.
